Event Calendar

Students in 1st-5th grades are invited to join us for an Eclipse Party on April 8th from 2:00-3:20. The party will start in the library where participants will learn what an eclipse is and what ancient civilizations believed eclipses were. Then students can make up their own myths/legends about eclipses. Attendees will explore space, and will have an opportunity to create a nebulae craft and constellation tube. Students will enjoy fun space-themed snacks before they move outside for the eclipse. Eclipse glasses will be provided.
