Wet Felted Purse Workshop
Learn the basics of wet felting while creating a beautiful functional no-sew purse with built-in handles. Participants are asked to please bring 1 bath towel and a rolling pin.
Wet felting is the process of massaging fibers into a piece of material using friction, soap and water. It is a magical experience, but can be labor intensive for sensitive backs and shoulders.
Our instructor is April Cox, a farmer and fiber artist. She raises alpacas for fiber on her farm in Spartansburg, PA. Since 2011 she has been creating and teaching the fiber arts of spinning, crochet, needle and wet felting under the business name Tupelo Acres, LLC.
